About Us
We want all individuals to envision their goals and realize they possess the ability to make their creative dreams a reality, and if anyone embodied this ideal, David Alcala did!
An incredibly kind, giving, sharing man, David traveled the country, teaching glass art and touching our hearts in unforeseen ways. David’s passing was too soon, and we honor his memory, his life path, and his incredible vision by creating this scholarship fund in his name.
Scholarships
The Fused Glass Fanatics' Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications on an ongoing basis.
Applicants may apply for funds to take any class or workshop they wish, at any studio or school. We do not wish to restrict what you learn, or where you learn it.
There is a $25 application fee to apply.
Silent Auction
Every year we hold a silent auction to raise funds for the scholarship. We are currently underway with our 2024 auction, and are now planning for, and accepting donations for, our 2025 silent auction which will take place in April of 2025!
